$11 million supportive housing funding for Lethbridge under review by UCP

July 10, 2019

Rehabilitative housing for Lethbridge is on hold, but local officials are hoping to see a 30-bed intox facility open soon.

The supportive housing complex for Lethbridge is meant to support adults experiencing homelessness who have complex issues such as substance use.

The intox spaces in the city will provide a safe place for people to stay while they sober up. Intox services can help reduce disruption to neighbourhoods and businesses, and include access to services like housing programs and health care.
