Debunking Breathalyzer Myths

Recent social media posts indicate that police are performing alcohol and drug screening at restaurants and bars, and at people's homes up to 2 hours after driving a vehicle. We wanted to get to the bottom of this alleged practice.

With May being the month of Sexual Violence Awareness, Lethbridge College brought in a speaker from Edmonton to educate the Sexual Violence Action Committee on ways to support victims of workplace harassment.

"Really, we just need to start from a place of believing people who come fourth with allegations of sexual harassment—it's the first step. When we act with disbelief, we make people feel unsupported, and unwilling to share more about what happened," says Sexual Violence Prevention educator Derek Warick

According to Canadian Business, 43 percent of women and 12 percent of men say they have been harassed at work.
