“We get a lot of cracked wheels, bent wheels,” Hammond said. “That obviously translates right into suspension, so it’s going to throw the car out of alignment, and if they don’t align it, it obviously wears the car out sooner. So, it can be a big domino effect.”
Hammond said the best thing to do with the unpredictable weather and changing road conditions is to stay on top of your car's care.
"I know everybody likes to kind of wait it out and see if anything drastic is going to happen, but it never hurts to have a vehicle checked over if you've hit a fairly severe pothole."
