Eighteen people arrested in Lethbridge drug bust

Lethbridge Police busted a drug trafficking ring arresting 18 people and recovering a stolen vehicle.

Members of the Downtown Policing and Priority Crimes Units conducted a targeted sweep of the downtown core. The project resulted in the arrest of 11 subjects who are now facing numerous charges and the apprehension of seven more who were wanted on a combined total of 28 outstanding warrants. Police also seized a stolen Toyota 4-Runner worth 55-thousand dollars. Two of those who were taken in were allegedly trying to sell prescription narcotics with their three children, all under the age of four, in tow. Child and Family Services now have the children.
