Jobs, economy, pipeline

March 21, 2019

United Conservative Party Leader, Jason Kenney, riled up an enthusiastic crowd at the Italian Cultural Club in Lethbridge last night. The event could be summarized by three words seen on the blue campaign signs held by supporters — jobs, economy and pipeline.

Kenney said, "Albertans have a chance to vote for change. Change that will get this province back to work, creating jobs, building pipelines, and fighting for a fair deal in Alberta, Canada."

In his speech, Kenney hammered the NDP on economic issues, blaming the governing party for high unemployment numbers. He also criticized the carbon tax and pledged to kill the initiative and fight the federal carbon tax in court with Ontario and Saskatchewan.

“In 27 days, a bright new day will dawn in this magnificent province,” the United Conservative Party leader said, to loud cheers from the crowd.
