February 21, 2019

The Kodiaks men’s volleyball head coach was named ACAC south division coach of the year at their annual awards banquet Wednesday.

Greg Gibos, in his third Kodiak coaching season with the Kodiaks, coached the team to a 22-2 record and first place in the south division. He built a team that plays on southern Alberta talent, and created a program that fosters academic success.

Gibos has been selected as the ACAC representative to move forward for CCAA coach of the year consideration.

The banquet also saw four Kodiaks being named to the ACAC south all-conference team.
