The Lethbridge Bulls are getting ready to begin their season this Saturday against the Edmonton Prospects. On the May 29th, they will be home to help some future Bulls hone their baseball skills at a camp. The TCMM Kids Camp will be in memory of Tanner Craswell and Mitch Maclean who lost their lives in a shooting in 2011. The Bulls staff and players stressed the importance of giving back.
"It's been a great fit for our players to get out in the community and tell them what they're about and what they're taking in school and what they hope to achieve when they graduate from school or move onto their professional baseball opportunities," says Bulls President and GM, Kevin Kvame
"It's really important to give back to the community. They like to come out and watch us play. It's nice to see the kids come around here and we get to work with them a little bit," adds 2nd year player Jesse Sawyer
All proceeds will go towards the Bulls, the Prairie Baseball and Vauxhall Academies.
