Lethbridge Police and B.C. RCMP undergo new search for Marshal Iwaasa

June 15, 2020

Marshal Iwaasa was last seen by his relatives in Lethbridge on November 17th, 2019. Ever since, the Lethbridge Police Service has been trying to locate him. Pemberton RCMP found his burned out truck on November 25th in BC's backcountry. The search was halted during the winter, but just last month Pemberton RCMP conducted a search of the area, and ended up finding no additional evidence. A new search will be started soon. Lethbridge Police say they have received tips from all over Canada, but that none of the tips were able to substantiate that it was actually Marshal Iwaasa. In the investigation, it was found out that Iwaasa had stopped going to his post-secondary classes, and police say that there is evidence saying that he had been dealing with stress, and became withdrawn in his life. Police are asking anyone who has evidence on the disappearance of Marshal Iwaasa to come forward.
