At approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, police and EMS responded to a report of an injured male laying on the ground near Mildred Dobbs Boulevard and Lettice Perry Road North. The male was transported to Chinook Regional Hospital and then to the Calgary Foothills Hospital in critical condition with a head injury. The 31-year-old victim remains in hospital in Calgary, but is now listed in stable condition.
Following further investigation, it was determined the male had been assaulted. The following day, police searched a home along Cougar Cove North. Two males inside the residence were arrested and taken to the police station. The males have since been released without charges.
The investigation is still ongoing.
