The Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens is reopening to the public for the summer starting today. Nikka Yuko will only have 50 people allowed in the garden per hour, and only 10 people will be allowed in the Visitor Centre and Tea Pavilion at one time. The Executive Director of the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, Michelle Day, says that guided tours will not be offered during this time, but they are offering alternatives for the tour. The Japanese garden will also be instituting a theme day. There is Go Monday, which is a strategy board game. There is also Meditation Thursday, and Anime Saturday. Yoga will also be brought into Nikka Yuko, and the Canadian Yoga Institute will partner together to offer yoga classes inside the gardens.
