Ottawa man charged in assault of Lethbridge senior

Lethbridge Police have charged an Ottawa man in connection with an incident Wednesday evening where a 75-year-old woman was viciously assaulted in her home.

β€œThe victim was treated at Chinook Regional Hospital for multiple broken bones to her nose, other head injuries, and since released in the care of her family,” said Sgt. Pete Christos.

Adam Hall Hobkirk-Onate, 21, of no fixed address Ottawa, is charged with assault causing bodily harm, breaking-and-entering, committing robbery and disguise with intent.

Hobkirk-Onate has been placed in custody and is scheduled to appear in court May 27.
