Pincher Creek Mayor talks impact of doctors resigning

April 23, 2020

Nine of eleven doctors are saying they will not be working at the hospital in Pincher Creek after the provincial government made changes to the way that doctors are able to keep their clinics running in the same capacity they are used to. Some of the doctors are also allegedly saying that it is not financially attainable in this current climate of COVID-19 to keep hospital and physician care going. The mayor of Pincher Creek says if the doctors walk it will seriously impact his town. He is worried that families will not get the care they need.
