Before making her way to Lethbridge, Rachel Notley stopped in Nanton as well. She stood alongside Livingston/Macleod candidate Cam Gardner who spoke about how he plans on serving rural Alberta communities.
"Been doing a lot of work with government, local groups trying to get health clinics, school renovations, infrastructure, sewer plants, and rec centers in all these communities. It's critically important to keep our small communities sustainable. (We need) some places for the kids to recreate, we need critical infrastructure and we need to create jobs. I intend to advocate for that hard, especially in Crowsnest Pass, Piikani, Pincher Creek, and help as well in all of those communities."
Gardner, along with UCPs Roger Reid and other candidates were all present for a voters forum yesterday and answered questions for an audience of over 400 voters.
