Teen hit while crossing road on west side

November 14, 2019

A 13 year old boy is recovering in hospital after being hit by a car on Wednesday. It happened over the noon hour at University Drive and Garry Drive West near Father Leonard Van Tighem School. Police say the lights for the North / South traffic on University Drive had turned green when the young pedestrian ran across the road in front of on-coming southbound traffic . The teen was transported to the hospital but injuries are not life threatening. No charges have been laid.

Here are some ways parents can help get their kids through school with integrity.
