Holocaust Remembered

More than six million European Jews died during the Holocaust. In total the Nazis killed more than 17 million people during the Second World War. Today is National Holocaust Remembrance Day, a day to remember those who died senselessly and needlessly so many years ago.

Recent reports say anti-semitism rates are on the rise in Canada. We chatted with Lethbridge Rabbi Sidney Speakman who says he was attacked two years ago right in front of his synagogue here in Lethbridge.
Lethbridge Police say they are aware that anti semitism is on the rise in Canada and they are doing their best to deal with the issue here in southwestern Alberta.
