Where is Marshal? One-year anniversary of disappearance

November 17, 2020

Today marks the one year anniversary of the disappearance of Marshal Iwaasa. Lethbridge Police continue to investigate his disappearance and the file is remaining open with a dedicated investigator until he's found.

Iwaasa was last seen at his mother’s house on November 17th of last year.  His last known whereabouts was a north side storage facility on November 18th. He had told his family he was returning to Calgary from Lethbridge but has not been heard from or seen since. On November 23rd, 2019 his burnt up vehicle was located in the BC backcountry by Pemberton RCMP.

His sister Paige Fogen had this to say in a statement earlier today. "On this one year mark I look back to reflect over what we have learned. When I think of the year, I am filled with such gratitude over the enormous support our family has received. I would like to take time today to extend my gratitude for the continual support and coverage on my brother's disappearance. We won't stop until we have answers," says Fogen.

Marshal Iwaasa who was 26 at the time he went missing, has been listed with the National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains.
