What you need to know about curbside recycling

The Material Recovery Facility (MRF) has opend its doors in Lethbridge.

The 45,000 square foot building is owned by the city, and is operated by a private contractor that claims its capable of 8 tones of recyclables per hour.  

"The facility is now all ready. We are really happy and excited to see this. We are just looking forward to next Tuesday to start processing everything from the residents," says Manager of Waste and Recycling services, Joel Sanchez

Lethbridge’s very first curbside pick-up will take place between May 14th and 24th.
